Absolutely fantastic! Our guide, Sham, was exceptional – he made sure we had everything we needed and packed so much into a short time. Sri Lanka is a truly beautiful country with stunning landscapes, friendly locals, and an incredibly laid-back vibe. This tour was a perfect way to experience it all. Our group had a mix of different needs, but Sham and our driver, Mandju, were incredibly accommodating, keeping things relaxed and friendly the whole time. It felt like nothing was ever too much trouble for them. As someone who’d never been to Sri Lanka, this tour was exactly what I needed.

Our group of 16 travellers enjoyed a 7 day private tour (prior to a meditation retreat) with Sham starting in Negombo and finishing in Hireketiya and we had the most wonderful experience!From the first pick up at the airport, Sham went above and beyond with our group organiser Fran to ensure we were well looked after and had a good range of activities each day to suit the group. He organised transport, entry, bookings and guides at all the places we visited including multiple temples, train travel from Nuwara Eliyah to Ella, a tea factory tour and tasting, Grand Hotel high tea, lunches with local families and businesses and visits to several waterfalls and hikes. He also organised additional transport at short notice when we made impromptu plans for a sunrise visit to a Buddhist temple on Sinhalese/Tamil New Years Day.Mandju who drove our touring bus was also fantastic, driving us through all conditions patiently, calmly and with amazing skill.I would highly recommend Sham and Island Treks for a tour through Sri Lanka. Thanks Sham for an incredible introduction to Sri Lanka and also for helping us with our vocabulary and pronunciation as we attempted to learn some of the Sinhalese language during our visit!

Amazing! Our guide Sham took such good care of us, and showed us so much in a small amount of time. It’s a stunning country, breathtaking views, chill and smiley people, and this tour was a great way to take it all in. We had a diverse group with different needs, but Sham and the driver Manju took great care of ALL of us whilst remaining we so relaxed and friendly - it seemed like nothing was a problem. I had never been to Sri Lanka before (or anywhere like this) and this tour was perfect.

I highly recommend Island Treks for their exceptional service and flexibility. Raphal was great to work with, tailoring the itinerary to our needs. I highly recommend Island Treks for your Sri Lanka holiday. They were excellent to deal with, very responsive and happily would adjust the itinerary as requested. Our driver Sumedah had great local knowledge and took all the stress out of moving about. We love Sri Lanka and would not hesitate to use Island Treks next time!

Cant find any faults. If anything we did too much wish I added more days to the trip so I could've stayed longer. Island Trek tours literally helped with every single thing and communication is the best I have ever had from any company

Great tour planner. Highly recommended! We went on a two week trip all through Sri Lanka and they customised a handful of days to suit some extra places we wanted to see. Our driver for the trip was great (don't try and drive yourself, it's madness). Will definitely use Island Treks again!

I had the most amazing five days with Island Treks and Travels. I highly recommend working with these guys from logistics through to being on the road with them. Everything was set up well and ran smoothly. The country is beautiful. The people are beautiful. It was a great experience. One of their itineraries, or you can make your own itinerary. They will work things out for you in the best way possible.

Outstanding customer service, providing prompt and thorough responses to all enquiries. As the tours are land only you have the flexibility to select flights snd airlines that suit you. Raphal understands that every traveler has different needs and he strives to provide the utmost convenience in terms of number of days, budget and your interests. As you have a private car and driver there is no itinerary set in stone. The driver will happily stop for photo opportunities (bus tours are unable to do this) rest stops, and interesting meal locations. I was surprised that the cost is comparable to group tours. I highly recommend you have a chat with Raphal to organise a custom tour that you get input into. Like me, you won’t be disappointed.
